In class 12 we have been looking at the Govenment in PSHE so we decided to visit the Mayor's office at the Civic Centre. The children had a lovely afternoon and were able to ask lots of questions!

Multiskill Sports afternoon

Well done to all the children who took part in the Multiskill sports afternoon on Wednesday 20^th January. The children took part in a series on physical challenges to test their speed and agility. All participants did a fantastic job, were great sportsmen & women and pushed themselves to achieve their personal bests. Not to mention all the fun we had.

After half term we will be holding our next seasonal sporting festival for Key Stage 2. Look out for more fantastic photos then.

Weather Update Sunday 10th

As yet no decision has been made regarding the reopening of school for Monday. We will endeavour to open however, we must feel confident that your children can remain safe travelling to and from school and whilst in school. We will reassess the situation on Sunday 10^thJanuary and update the website as soon as a decision has been made. As always we will contact local radio stations as well. Unfortunately Gibside will be closed today due to the amount of snow that has recently fallen and as advised. We apologise for any inconveniences caused and will update the website as regularly as possible to notify you of any changes for the rest of the week.

However a final decision will be made as early as possible in the morning when we will update the website.
