We are delighted to to say that the 'Gibside A' team won the table cricket tournament at Temple Park last week. As we were the only Primary School taking part it is a huge achievement and we are really happy for all the children who took part. Look out for the photostory which we will upload soon!
Well done to all the children who took part in the Multiskill sports afternoon on Wednesday 20th January. The children took part in a series on physical challenges to test their speed and agility. All participants did a fantastic job, were great sportsmen & women and pushed themselves to achieve their personal bests. Not to mention all the fun we had.

Great news! Gibside School has been successfully awarded the full International School Award. All the staff and children have worked hard, learning about different countries and cultures. We will be receiving our trophy in October at a special ceremony to be held in London.
Ant and Dec have sent Gibside a signed autograph wishing all the children from Year 6 best wishes with their leavers assembly!
Some of the children from class 11 and class 12 had a treat last week when they visited the Newcastle United training ground. Upon arrival they were greeted by Alan Shearer and some of the other players, it was a great afternoon out!!
Some of the children at Gibside were last week involved in a table cricket tournament. They all played extremely well and were each awarded a medal!! Well done to all involved.
